New energy for UET brand identity

Established in 2006, the European University of Tirana (UET) is the fastest-growing private university in Albania, providing undergraduate and graduate programs to Albanian and foreign students. Founded by a group of individual academics, university lecturers, journalists and experienced managers from the public and private higher education sector, UET has gained a reputation as an educational institution distinguished by its high quality and standards. UET Board of Directors appointed Vatra to revive their Brand Identity. After years focusing on education programs, it was time to renovate the institution’s identity. The cost of implementing a complete rebrand is not low for any organization, much less a new private university. In order to preserve the same elements of the old identity, we designed a smart system that allowed UET to have a fresh logo communicating the same core values.
The objective of the refresh project was to create a brand which represents the European University of Tirana in the most compelling and consistent manner.
This project included the exploration of the University’s brand attributes and values and the development of the defined brand strategy into a visual representation. Many focus groups and workshops with students, staff, external stakeholders, alumni and industry partners have helped to share this vision and representation.
