New refreshed look to fly better

Continuously adding to their number of services and quality of transmission, Digitalb, part of TOP MEDIA Group, always has been and remains at the forefront of the latest digital technology. Due to their constant growth, Digitalb contemplated they needed to re-brand their identity and introduce themselves in the market with a new brand that suited their success in technology, sales, services, and quality. We was appointed to tackle the rebranding of the new main identity and sub-channel identities, for its platform channels. The company wanted the new identity to be strong and long-lived, while sub-identities needed to communicate with each age group audience to deliver the context of every platform channel with an authentic image and graphic. Vatra reimagined every design detail of the channels with a minimal, content-first perspective—reducing to the essentials in order to elevate Digitalb storytelling and content above all else. We worked closely with Digitalb’s leadership to develop a new design and brand framework that would help put the creativity of its iconic offer front and center. That meant developing a more authentic, bold, strong, dynamic and eye-catching identity that brings to life the pay-TV platform and entertainment content, a brand that was led by the notion “Human and High Tech”. By focusing our creative efforts on moments of emotional storytelling, we were able to help pivot the company toward a more fan-focused, digital-first identity. Vatra also designed a new retail chain named Digitalb Units that makes the environment of their new minimal-style stores modern and attractive. A real brand identity toolkit was developed making every element on Digitalb instantly more tailored, expressive, emotional, and of course — content-focused.

Our cooperation with Vatra started in 2009 on a two-year contract basis. It was a crucial time for our company; we were looking for change on our fifth anniversary, we wanted to enhance said change, better customer care, experience and technology through a new brand identity. Through their creativity, the Vatra staff responded with perfection, good time scale, great ideas and professionalism. Their design work for the identity of Digitalb p.l.c. was not only applied to corporate and digital branding, but was also spread to ATL, BTL, and even to naming and designing our retail chain stores, “Digitalb Units”.
