Established in 2005, Dance Challenge is a unique international dance competition providing young dancers with an opportunity to gain almost instant acclaim for their talent, creativity, and hard work. From its base in the United Kingdom, Dance Challenge is expanding rapidly to other European countries. Therefore re-branding and an improvement of its online presence were paramount.
VVatra had worked previously with Dance Challenge and understood its philosophy. Alongside the obvious benefits, this fact presented Vatra with a challenge because a radical way of thinking was now required. The new brand had to reflect Dance Challenge’s European vision, aiming to appeal to its new global demographics. The new brand had to reflect motion, openness, grace, and strength.
The main movement elements were incorporated gracefully into the new brand giving it a new lease of life, making the brand unique and instantly recognizable. The new identity was implemented in a simple and clean way on all stationery and other promotional items.
